Nestled in the peaceful village of Vieux, amidst the vineyards and rolling hills of the Tarn's "Little Tuscany," this gîte enjoys an authentic setting in the heart of the Gaillac wine region. The white stone houses, the tranquility of the surroundings, and the immediate proximity to the vineyards make it a prime destination for wine lovers and those seeking a relaxing getaway in the countryside. Throughout the year, there are numerous opportunities to discover local traditions and expertise, from wine tastings at the vineyards to summer events and live music in the neighboring villages.

From the gîte, the most beautiful fortified towns of the Albi region are easily accessible for cultural and culinary excursions. Cordes-sur-Ciel, perched on its promontory and listed among the most beautiful villages in France, captivates visitors with its medieval heritage and breathtaking views. Castelnau-de-Montmiral, Puycelsi, and Bruniquel complete these must-see destinations. The area is also ideal for hiking through woods and vineyards, visiting farmers' markets, and strolling through hilltop villages, for a relaxing and enjoyable family holiday.

The gîte is built entirely of limestone, in the style of the Albi region's bastides, and offers a warm atmosphere with excellent amenities. It can accommodate up to 8 people and consists of a house for 6 people and, below it, an independent studio for 2 people, allowing families or groups to stay together while maintaining privacy and each person's own pace.

The main house has a large, fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor with an oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment, induction hob, dishwasher, Senseo coffee machine, and dining table. A laundry room with a washing machine, dryer, and cleaning supplies, as well as a separate toilet, complete this level. The bright living room opens onto the private garden.
