Located in Mailhoc, a charming village perched on a plateau between the medieval town of Cordes-sur-Ciel and Albi, this gîte offers a prime location for exploring this corner of the Tarn region, nestled between fortified towns and vineyards. You can discover the Episcopal City of Albi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its brick Sainte-Cécile Cathedral, the Palais de la Berbie, and the Saint-Salvy Cloister. Further north, Cordes-sur-Ciel invites you to stroll through its steep, winding streets, steeped in history and legend. Around Mailhoc, the Gaillac vineyards unfold, revealing themselves through family estates where winemakers are eager to share their expertise, making this stay a wonderful immersion in the oldest wine region in France.



The gîte, adjoining the owners' house at the rear, has a separate entrance, ensuring your privacy. It comfortably accommodates two or three people. On the ground floor, you'll find a bright living room with a lounge area and TV, opening onto a fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, and several types of coffee makers. An adjoining laundry room provides added convenience with a washing machine, cleaning supplies, and a toilet.



Upstairs, there is an air-conditioned bedroom (one queen-size bed (160x200cm) and one single bed (90x200cm)) and a bathroom with a shower and sink.



Outside, you'll enjoy a pleasant private garden and a terrace adjoining the kitchen, perfect for summer meals.



The large 16m x 11m diamond-shaped swimming pool, shared with the owners, is a real bonus for sunny days.



Private parking makes your arrival easy. The cottage does not have Wi-Fi, but fiber optic internet reception is excellent in the garden. Bed linen, towels and household linen are provided, and end-of-stay cleaning is included for a stress-free stay.
